itech Prevent offers detection systems for the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE). iPED (= itech Prevent Equipment Detection) confirms that safety glasses are worn properly when required. It provides an immediate warning of deviations by means of an audible or visual warning. It can also be connected to an access control system or a machine control system: if safety rules are violated, access can be denied or a machine can be taken out of service.
